The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center will host an Electronics Recycling Event this Saturday, November 16th. It will be open to residents of Rome and Floyd County only. Items will be accepted from 9 am to 1 pm at the center, located at 412 Lavender Drive in west Rome. This will provide an opportunity to get rid of old computers, televisions, recorders and peripheral equipment such as printers and keyboards, states Floyd County’s Public Works Director Michael Skeen. Appointments must be made in advance by calling the center at (706) 291-5266.
