Georgia Highlands College’s women’s basketball team opened up conference play with a 104-44 win over Southern Crescent Technical College in Griffin, GA on Wednesday night, according to a GHC sports release.
Nijeria Jordan led the charge for the Lady Chargers with 24 points. Jahnaria Brown contributed 22 points. Ja’Lyn Reese notched a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
GHC improved to 3-2 overall with the victory. They will return to action on Wednesday, November 20th with an outing against defending GCAA champs South Georgia Technical College in Americus.
The GHC men’s basketball team will take on Gulf Coast State College in the Gulf Coast State Classic this evening in Panama City Beach, Florida. Tip off is set for 8:30 pm.
