GEORGIA WATER COALITION’S CAPITOL CONSERVATION DAY SET FOR FEBRUARY 26TH

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, February 26th. That is the date of Capitol Conservation Day, a program of the Georgia Water Coalition. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am at Central Presbyterian Church, which is located across from the State Capitol in Atlanta. Attendees will get updates on water-related legislation and advocacy training. They will then head to the Capitol to meet with legislators, says Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, Executive Director of the Coosa River Basin Initiative.

Registration for Capitol Conservation Day is available at www.gawater.org at a cost of $10 per ticket. Sponsorships are also sought for the event at the cost of $150 each.

Demonbreun-Chapman indicates that this event is a great way to interact with lawmakers and witness the legislative process.
