OVER 43,000 GEORGIANS HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH COVID-19

More than 43,000 have been infected with COVID-19 and nearly 1,850 have died due to complications from the virus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 43,400 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the Peach State as of 7 pm on Sunday night. There were 1,848 deaths related to the coronavirus. Here in Floyd County, there were 228 confirmed cases and 14 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 4,080, and the highest number of fatalities at 199.
