AIR SHOW LEAVES SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT, ECONOMIC AND OTHERWISE ON ROME AND FLOYD COUNTY
One event that reportedly had a substantial economic impact on Rome and Floyd County in 2012 was the Wings Over North Georgia air show, which was held in late September at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport/Admiral John H. Towers Field.
Air show director Rob Skelton said late last week on WLAQ’s Good Morning Rome that the air show experienced success on many levels.
Skelton says plans for the 2013 Wings Over North Georgia air show will soon be announced.
