CONGRESSMAN PHIL GINGREY SAYS HE SUPPORTS GEORGIAN NEWT GINGRICH IN RACE FOR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION
Super Tuesday is right around the corner. March 6th is the day that Georgia voters will go to the polls for the presidential primary election. In a recent interview on WLAQ AM 1410′s Good Morning Rome, Congressman Phil Gingrey said he is supporting Georgian Newt Gingrich in his bid for the Republican party’s nomination for President of the United States. He said that he will get behind whomever ultimately wins the nomination, however.
In addition to voting for their choice for Republican nominee for president, Floyd County voters will decide the fate of the 2012 SPLOST in the March 6th election. Additionally, those in the City of Rome will vote whether or not to allow for Sunday alcohol package sales.
