GREATER ROME CHAMBER SEEKS TO INSPIRE AT ‘CONFLUENCE’
Calling all leaders, technologists, educators, entrepreneurs, students and artists! The Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce invites you to Confluence, an event being touted as “two days of inspiration, innovation, and motivation” just for you. It is set for February 21st and 22nd at the Historic DeSoto Theatre in downtown Rome.
Tricia Steele Seifert, President and CEO of SAI Digital, a local web design and development firm, says she is looking for the event because she enjoys collaborating with great thinkers in this area. She notes that the event was originally dubbed “SpecTechRome”, but has undergone a name change this time around.
The keynote speaker for Confluence will be Chris Anderson, former editor in chief of Wired magazine. Other highlights include a presentation from the Boeing Company, the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems. In the presentation, Earl Robinson will discuss “Boeing Moonshine Shops”.
