Berry College Theatre will present “The Last Night of Ballyhoo on February 16-19 and 23-26 in the EH Young Theatre on the Berry campus. The play will show at 8 pm nightly and 2 pm on Sundays. Tickets are $5 for opening night and $7 every night after. For more information, call (706) 236-2263.

Redmond Regional Medical Center will present Redmond Has Heart as part of Heart Month (which is February). The event is set for February 20^th from 9 am until 3 pm at the Forum in downtown Rome. The event will feature the Ameriheart exhibit, a walkthrough, interactive heart exhibit which educates visitors on heart anatomy, disease and disease prevention.

Need help with your taxes? Trained AARP Tax-Aide volunteers are once again providing free help and electronic filing this year to low to middle income taxpayers. The tax help is offered at the Senior Adult Center at 1325 Kingston Road in Rome on Wednesdays from 1 pm until 4 pm until April 11^th. It will also be offered at the Rome Floyd County Library at 205 Riverside Parkway on Mondays from 1:30 pm until 5 pm through April 16^th and on Saturdays from 10 am until 2 pm through April 14^th. Those seeking AARP Tax-Aide assistance are advised to bring last year’s tax return and all available information for this year.

AARP Tax-Aide is a program of the AARP Foundation, offered in conjunction with the IRS. For more information, call local coordinator Gordon Leiter at (706) 234-0931.

AARP Tax-Aide assistance will also be offered in Calhoun at the Calhoun-Gordon County Library at 100 North Park Avenue on Fridays from 1 pm until 4 pm from February 3^rd through April 13^th.
