MEDLIN SHARP IN BRAVES VICTORY OVER MARLINS
In your Spring Training update, the Atlanta Braves took a 2-1 victory from the Miami Marlins under the lights last night in Jupiter, Florida. Braves starting pitcher Kris Medlen pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings, though he was hit by two line drives; he is reportedly “ok”. Last night’s game was highlighted by a solo home run from Freddie Freeman in the second inning.
The Braves will remain in Jupiter to face the St. Louis Cardinals today at 1:05 pm.
