The 2013 regular season winds down tomorrow night for most area high school football teams, meaning that the race for a good spot in the playoffs is heating up.  Tune in for some intense high school football action on 95.7 FM The Ridge and WLAQ AM 1410.

In the Northwest Georgia High School Football Game of the Week on 95.7 FM The Ridge, the number two seed in the Region 7-AA playoffs is up for grabs as the Model Blue Devils head to Dade County.  Online coverage of the game will be provided at www.theridge957.com.

Jim Alred, sports editor for the Rome News-Tribune, says that the Model at Dade County game has playoff implications not only for the teams involved, but for other Region 7-AA teams as well.
