SHORTER LADY HAWKS FALL TO MONTEVALLO ON THE ROAD
A late second half rally allowed the University of Montevallo to beat Shorter University’s Lady Hawks 69-61 in college basketball last night in Montevallo, Alabama. The Lady Hawks will return to action this Saturday, along with the Hawks, at Clark Atlanta. The women will play at 2 pm, followed by the men at 4 pm. The games will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge and www.theridge957.com.
Georgia Highlands College basketball will take to the airwaves of WLAQ AM 1410 tomorrow. The 6th ranked Lady Chargers will host Andrew College at 2 pm, which will be followed by a 4 pm match for the Chargers against Waycross College at GHC’s Floyd County campus.
