ROME BRAVES ON THE ROAD TO FACE THE ASHEVILLE TOURISTS
The Rome Braves took the day off yesterday and will get back into action tonight with a four game series in Asheville, North Carolina against the Tourists. Tonight’s game will get underway at 7:05 p.m. at Asheville’s McCormick Field and will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge and www.theridge957.com.
Following their series in Asheville today thru Sunday, the Rome Braves will be back home at State Mutual Stadium for a four game series with the Savannah Sand Gnats next Monday thru Thursday.
In Rome Braves roster moves, right handed pitcher Willie Kempf has joined the team from the Danville Braves of the Appalachian League.

ATLANTA BRAVES PICK UP VICTORY OVER WASHINGTON NATIONALS IN D.C.
The Atlanta Braves defeated the Washington Nationals 3-1 last night in D.C. The Braves will close out their series with the Nationals today in Washington, D.C. at 12:35 p.m. We will join the game in progress following the Rush Limbaugh Show on the AM 1410 WLAQ.
Following today’s game in D.C., the Braves will travel to Cincinnati for three games with the Reds.
