TELLUS MUSEUM FOLLOWING MARS ROVER, VOYAGER SPACECRAFT

Written by Matt Davis on December 7, 2012. Posted in News/Weather

In news for science aficionados, the Mars Curiosity Rover continues its journey along the surface of the ‘Red Planet’.  The Tellus:  Northwest Georgia Science Museum in Cartersville has been tracking its quest.  Marketing director Joe Schulman says that the rover is trying to determine if there are sustainable forms of life on Mars.  The news was announced earlier this week that NASA plans to launch another Mars rover most likely in 2020.

Schulman says that the museum has also been keeping up with the Voyager spacecraft.

The Tellus Museum posts regular updates on the Mars Curiosity Rover, the Voyager spacecraft and other science related news topics on their Facebook page and Twitter feed.  Learn more about the Tellus Museum online at www.tellusmuseum.org, or even better, pay them a visit in Cartersville.
