WINNING NIGHT FOR SHORTER UNIVERSITY

It was a victorious night for Shorter University over Brewton Parker in a couple of Southern States Athletic Conference East Division basketball games at Shorter’s Winthrop King Centre last night.  The 24th ranked Lady Hawks beat the Lady Barons 78-41.  The number one Hawks remain undefeated with their 20th straight win over the Barons 97-70.  

Shorter’s basketball teams will travel Cleveland, Tennessee for a couple more SSAC games with Lee University tomorrow.  The women will play that evening at 5 pm, followed by the men at 7 pm.  The games will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge and www.theridge957.com.  

Berry College’s Lady Vikings and Vikings will host Rust tomorrow.  Tip off is set for 2 pm for the women and 4 pm for the men at Berry’s Cage Center.  The games will be broadcast on the AM 1410 WLAQ and www.wlaq1410.com.
