UPDATE 4/4/20 (NOON): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 6160 STATEWIDE, 201 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 6160 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 12-noon on Saturday, April 4, 2020.  Floyd County has 79 confirmed cases and 3 deaths at the time of this report.  The number of confirmed cases in Polk County has risen to 18, and in Chattooga County there are 3 confirmed cases.  There have been 201 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (941), Dougherty (636), Dekalb (500), Cobb (428), Gwinnett (364), Clayton (224) and Bartow (160).
