BLUE ANGEL LOOKS FORWARD TO RETURNING TO THE PEACH STATE FOR WINGS OVER NORTH GEORGIA 2021

Here is a great gift idea for this Christmas for the aviation enthusiast on your list – tickets to the 2021 Wings Over North Georgia air show! Next year’s air show is set for October 30th and 31st – Halloween weekend – and will feature the return of the US Navy’s Blue Angels to Rome’s Russell Regional Airport.

Wings Over North Georgia will mark a return to the Peach State for opposing solo LCDR Cary Rickoff, Blue Angel #6 and a native of Sandy Springs, GA. This will be his second time at the Rome air show – his first was as a member of the fleet – and he says that he looks forward to coming back here.

The Blue Angels have transitioned from the Legacy Hornets which they flew for more than 30 years into the Super Hornets. LCDR Rickoff states that the Super Hornet is bigger, faster, and more powerful.

The 2021 season will mark the Blue Angels’ 75th anniversary. All of shows at which they had been scheduled to appear in 2020 were cancelled.
