ROME LITTLE THEATRE WILL SOON RETURN TO THE STAGE AT THE HISTORIC DESOTO THEATRE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MORE THAN A YEAR

The Rome Little Theatre will soon return to the stage at the historic DeSoto Theatre for the first time in over a year.

Auditions will be held next week for ‘Love Letters’, written by A.R. Gurney. Show dates are April 9th through 17th; show times are 7:30 pm Friday nights and 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoons, says Chris Davidson, RLT’s Executive Director.

The show features a two-person cast – one male and one female, both mature. Auditions will be held on March 15th and 16th by appointment; callbacks will take place on March 17th by invitation. Emily Earp will make her directorial debut with ‘Love Letters’. She believes that this will be a great first show for RLT back on the DeSoto stage.

Tickets are now available at www.romelittletheatre.org. The seating will be limited to less than 15 percent capacity of the DeSoto, states Davidson, who adds that even cast members will be socially distanced on stage. Information about auditions may also be obtained on the website.
