The Atlanta Braves wrapped up a nine-game homestand on Sunday afternoon with a loss to the Baltimore Orioles by 2-1 in the last outing of a three-game set at Truist Park. The Braves were swept in that series and went 2-7 during their homestand.
Jackson Holliday got the Orioles on the board with a two-run homer during the top of the third inning. Sean Murphy had a solo shot for the Braves in the bottom of the ninth.
Grant Holmes was charged with the loss for Atlanta after giving up two runs and four hits, walking three, and striking out five through six innings. Trevor Rogers was credited with the win and Seranthony Dominguez picked up the save for Baltimore.
The Braves are now 39-50 on the 2025 regular season and are in fourth place of the National League East. They are off today and will open up a six-game road trip this Tuesday night with the first of three games in Sacramento, CA against the Athletics. First pitch is scheduled for 10:05 pm Eastern.
