ESP Rome’s Big Hoops will return on the evening of Friday, April 10th to the Huffman Center at Darlington School, and it will be a “Game for the Ages”.
Different generations will be pitted against one another in a friendly game of basketball as ESP celebrates 40 years of service and five years in Rome, GA, according to Sarah Bradfield, Executive Director.
Surprises will be in store for the attendees of this 4th edition of Big Hoops, enthuses Amie Sabourin, Development Coordinator.
Doors will open at 6 pm with tip off at 7 pm. Tickets are currently available online at a cost of $10 each at www.espyouandme.org, says Bradfield.
Sponsors are also sought. Proceeds from the event will support ESP Rome’s mission to provide transformative experiences for people with disabilities and their families. The non-profit raised nearly $85,000 via its Big Hearts Talent Show earlier this month, enthuses Sabourin.
The public is encouraged to follow ESP Rome on Facebook for pictures from Big Hearts, updates on Big Hoops, and more.
