HAWKS FALL TO ROCKETS AT STATE FARM ARENA

The Atlanta Hawks lost to the Houston Rockets 122-115 on Wednesday night at State Farm Arena. This allowed the Rockets to sweep the two game season series between the teams.

A player from each team notched a triple-double – Trae Young had 42 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the Hawks, while James Harden had 41 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Nuggets.

John Collins was Atlanta’s second leading scorer with 17 points to go with 14 rebounds.  Alex Len added 14 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.  Young’s triple-double was the second of this season and the third of his career.

Clint Capela added a double-double towards Houston’s third consecutive win with 22 points and 22 rebounds. Ben McLemore came off the bench to notch 18 points.

The Hawks have now fallen to 8-30 with their second straight loss.  They will return to action this Friday night at Washington DC with an outing versus the Wizards; tip off is slated for 7 pm.
