LSU TOPS CLEMSON IN CFP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The top-ranked LSU Tigers beat the No. 3 Clemson Tigers 42-25 on Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. This was LSU’s first national title since 2007, their fourth overall. Joe Burrow notched  a total of six touchdowns, five passing, for the Tigers, who ended their season with a perfect 15-0 record. It marked the end of a 29-game winning streak for defending national champion Clemson.
