UPDATE 3/27/20 (NOON): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 2001 STATEWIDE, 64 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 2001 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 12-noon on Friday, March 27, 2020.  Floyd County has 20 confirmed cases at the time of this report.  There have been 64 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (307), Dougherty (193), Dekalb (181), Cobb (144), Gwinnett (102), and Bartow (98).

The DPH is now updating the COVID-19 daily status report twice daily at noon and at 7 pm. It is available online at www.dph.georgia.gov.
