LYNN ROUSSEAU RETURNS TO HOSPITALITY HOUSE FOR WOMEN

Lynn Rousseau has assumed the post of Executive Director of the Hospitality House for Women, Inc in Rome.  She is successor to Malinda Kogerma, who vacated the position back in May due to health concerns.

This marks a return for Rousseau to the nonprofit organization, which serves victims of domestic violence.  She served as director from 2000 to 2008, then relocated to North Carolina.  Upon her return to Rome in 2017, she took over as Executive Director of the Open Door Home.  She returned at the beginning of this month to Hospitality House.

Rousseau asserts that while she appreciated the opportunities presented to her at Open Door Home, the Hospitality House allows her to fuel her passion for helping victims of domestic violence.

Plans are in the making for the observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, says Rousseau.  Activities will include the annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes on Friday, October 25th.

Details and registration for Walk A Mile are available on the House’s website at www.hospitalityhouseforwomen.org.
