BRAVES’ FINAL SERIES OF THE REGULAR SEASON SET FOR THIS WEEKEND AT NEW YORK VERSUS METS

The Atlanta Braves were off on Thursday.  They will open their final series of the regular season tonight in New York versus the Mets.  Dallas Keuchel will serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Marcus Stroman will head to the mound for New York. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm.  The game will not air on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM due to our broadcast of high school football at that time.  We will rejoin coverage from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network of the final two games of the regular season on Saturday evening and on Sunday afternoon at Citi Field.

The National League East-champion Braves must sweep their weekend series at New York in order to reach 100 wins on the regular season. Third baseman Josh Donaldson says that it would be nice to accomplish that feat, but he and his teammates have had a great season no matter what happens.  This audio is courtesy of the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The curtain will rise on the 2019 postseason for the Braves next Thursday at SunTrust Park.
