Atlanta Braves fans, it is now officially Choptober!  The NL East Champion Braves will open the 2019 postseason versus the St. Louis Cardinals at home this Thursday in Game One of their National League Division Series.  A start time will be determined by tonight’s NL Wild Card game among Washington and Milwaukee.  If the Nationals win it, the first pitch is slated for 5:02 pm at SunTrust Park on Thursday; if the Brewers win, first pitch is set for 6:02 pm. Game Two of the division series among the Braves and the Cardinals is slated for Friday afternoon at 4:37 pm in Atlanta. Game Three in the best-of-five set is scheduled for this Sunday in St. Louis; time yet to be determined.

The Cardinals locked up the NL Central this past Sunday with a 9-0 win over the Chicago Cubs in St. Louis.  Braves manager Brian Snitker told the media that he now anticipates ‘great series’ between the Braves and the Cards.
