GHC LIBRARY TO HOST DIGS ART SHOW THIS THURSDAY

Georgia Highlands College’s Library has partnered with local nonprofit DIGS (Developing Independence, Growth and Security) to host the DIGS Art Club for an art show and fundraiser, according to a GHC media release.  The event is set for this Thursday from 6:30 pm until 8 pm in the library at GHC’s Floyd County campus.  The public is invited, free of charge.  The DIGS artists will be on hand, and their artwork will be available for purchase with all proceeds going directly to DIGS and its effort to build a second group home for clients that will allow them to live as independently as possible.

The DIGS mission is to provide safe housing, work and leisure opportunities to adults with developmental disabilities.
