HAMBY NAMED ROME CITY SCHOOLS’ TEACHER OF THE YEAR FOR 2019

Ashley Hamby, agriculture teacher at Rome Middle School, is the Rome City Schools’ Teacher of the Year for 2019.  She was honored Tuesday at a special event at the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk.  Luis Goya, a teacher at Rome High School, was named the runner-up.  Honors for the system’s 2019 Support Employee of the Year went to Roderick Ware, a paraprofessional for Elm Street Elementary.
