IT’S GO-TIME FOR THE ATLANTA BRAVES VERSUS THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS IN NLDS GAME FIVE

It is do or die for the Atlanta Braves tonight as they play host to the St. Louis Cardinals in the decisive game five of their National League Division Series.

Mike Foltynewicz will serve as starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Jack Flaherty will head to the mound for St. Louis in a re-match of game two.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:02 pm.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM.  Air time is 3:45 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves aim to secure their first trip to the NL Championship Series since 2001.  They were oh-so-close to achieving that feat on Monday but wound up losing to the Cardinals 5-4 over 10 innings in game four at St. Louis.

The winner of tonight’s battle between the Braves and the Cards will proceed to take on either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the Washington Nationals in the NLCS.  Game five of the NLDS between the Dodgers and the Nationals is set for tonight in LA.
