Local non-profit Restoration Rome is working towards bringing Trust-Based Relational Intervention training to all sectors of this community that care for and serve children.
A TBRI session was held last week at Restoration Rome, for which partners from Texas Christian University were on hand. The public is invited to attend the next session, slated for this Friday, October 18th from 9 am until 2:30 pm. Restoration Rome co-founder Mary Margaret Mauer states that she will lead the program along with Jessica Sherman of DFCS.
The training offers insight into the impact of trauma on youngsters’ lives with an ultimate goal of making them feel safer, asserts Mauer.
Interested parties may call (706) 528-4033 to reserve a spot for this training. Restoration Rome is headquartered at 1400 Crane Street, in the old Southeast Elementary School.
