The Atlanta Hawks opened up their 2019-2020 regular season with a victory over the Detroit Pistons 117-100 on Thursday night in Detroit.
Trae Young led the charge for the Hawks with 38 points. John Collins added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jabari Parker contributed 18 points off the bench. De’Andre Hunter had 14 points.
The Hawks will play their home opener this Saturday night in Atlanta against the Orlando Magic. Tip off is slated for 7:30 pm at State Farm Arena.
