This week is the last week of early voting in the November 5th election. It is offered in two locations this week. Voters may cast their ballots in advance at the Floyd County Health Department, located at 16 East 12th Street, or at the Floyd County Administration Building, East 4th Avenue, today through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm each day.
Six posts on the Rome City Commission will be filled in this election. Voters will also determine the fate of a referendum that, if approved, would pave the way for local restaurants to serve alcohol at 11 am (as opposed to the current 12:30 pm) on Sundays.
Polls will be open around the City of Rome on Election Day from 7 am until 7 pm.
