HAWKS HANDED FIRST LOSS OF REGULAR SEASON

The Atlanta Hawks fell to the Philadelphia 76ers 105-103 on Monday night at the State Farm Arena. It marked the first loss of the 2019-2020 regular season for Atlanta, while Philadelphia remains undefeated.

Joel Embiid led all players in scoring with 36 points for the 76ers, including the winning free throws in the outing’s final seconds.  He also contributed 13 rebounds.

Trae Young was the Hawks’ top scorer with 25 points.  John Collins added 16 points, while De’Andre Hunter had 14 points.

The Hawks are now 2-1 on the regular season.  They will be in Miami to take on the Heat tonight.  Tip off is slated for 7:30 pm.  The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southeast.
