ONLY TWO DAYS LEFT OF EARLY VOTING IN THE NOVEMBER 5TH ELECTION

Only two days remain of early voting in the November 5th municipal election.  Rome voters may cast their ballots in advance at two locations to include the Floyd County Health Department, 16 East 12th Street in Rome, and the Floyd County Administration Building, 12 East 4th Avenue, any time between 8 am and 5 pm today and Friday.

Six posts in Wards 1 and 3 of the Rome City Commission will be determined in this election.  The Sunday ‘brunch bill’ is also featured on the ballot; if it is passed, local restaurants would be permitted to begin selling alcohol at 11 am (as opposed to the current 12:30 pm) on Sundays.

City precincts will be open on Election Day from 7 am until 7 pm.
