Businesses in downtown Cave Spring will welcome holiday shoppers with a host of festivities (and some great deals) this weekend during their Christmas Open House.
One week ago today, Cave Spring merchants handed out Halloween treats to visitors. Now it is time to get ready for the holidays, asserts Sandra Lindsey, Executive Director of Cave Spring’s Downtown Development Authority. The Christmas Open House event, she adds, is intended to showcase businesses of downtown Cave Spring with music, giveaways and a host of special deals for holiday shoppers. It is open to all from Northwest Georgia (and beyond).
Lindsey encourages the public to head over to Cave Spring this Saturday and Sunday to partake in the festivities.
This holiday fun will continue with the annual Small Town Christmas in the Country on Saturday and Sunday, December 6th and 7th at Rolater Park. The Cave Spring Christmas Parade is slated for December 14th.
The people of Cave Spring will take a moment to honor all veterans during a special Veterans Day celebration on Monday, November 11th. Lindsey invites all to attend this ‘time of remembrance’, which is scheduled to begin at 11 am at the veterans’ monument on the square.
