The Atlanta Hawks beat the Denver Nuggets 125-121 on Tuesday night out in Denver, Colorado, which allowed the Hawks to snap a three-game losing skid and ended a four-game winning streak for the Nuggets.
Trae Young led the charge for Atlanta with a game-high 45 points in addition to 11 assists. Jabari Parker contributed 20 points. Alex Len had 17 points off the bench. Kevin Huerter left early in the second half with a hurt arm.
Will Barton was Denver’s top scorer with 21 points. Nikola Jokic notched 20 points, while Paul Millsap added 19 points against his former team.
Atlanta rallied from a 12-point deficit early in the ballgame to secure the win over Denver.
The Hawks improved to 4-6 on the 2019-2020 regular season. They will be in Phoenix, Arizona to face the Suns this Thursday night; tip off is scheduled for 9 pm Eastern.
