NWGA PUBLIC HEALTH:  GO AHEAD AND GET YOUR FLU SHOT (IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO ALREADY)

Flu season is upon us.  Cases of the flu have been inching upwards across the state in the last few weeks, states Logan Boss, Public Information Officer for Northwest Georgia Public Health.

Boss asserts that all Georgians six months of age and older should go and get a flu shot.  This is the best method of protection against the illness.

The Floyd County Health Department is now offering flu vaccines on a walk-in basis during regular business hours.  For more information, call (706) 295-6123.
