HAWKS DROP OUTING TO T’WOLVES AT STATE FARM ARENA

The Atlanta Hawks fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 125-113 on Monday night at the State Farm Arena.  It marked the seventh consecutive loss for the Hawks and the end of a two-game losing skid for the T’wolves.

Trae Young notched a game-high 37 points for the Hawks.  Jabari Parker had 22 points.  Bruno Fernando added 13 points off the bench.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the T’wolves in scoring with 28 points. He also had 13 rebounds.  Andrew Wiggins had 25 points.  Jeff Teague added eight points and eight assists off the bench against his former team.

The Hawks have now fallen to 4-13 for the 2019-2020 regular season.  They will open a three-game road trip with a stop in Milwaukee for a match against the Bucks this Wednesday night; tip off is set for 8 pm Eastern.
