DON’T FEED YOUR DOG TABLE SCRAPS ON THANKSGIVING

If you are inclined to drop a few table scraps from your feast to your dog this Thanksgiving, Dr. Dan Pate of the West Rome Animal Clinic has this word of advice – don’t.  He indicates that many foods that seem harmless are actually toxic to animals.

Dr. Pate asserts that the Northwest Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center will be open on Thanksgiving in the unfortunate event that an emergency situation arises for local pet owners.  It is located at 111 John Maddox Drive in Rome.
