ROME CHRISTMAS PARADE WILL TRAVERSE BROAD STREET ON TUESDAY NIGHT

The Rome Christmas Parade is slated to traverse Broad Street in downtown Rome this Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm.  The theme for this year is “Let It Be Christmas – Everywhere”.

John Schroeder, founder of Schroeder’s New Deli, will serve as the ’19 Grand Marshall.  The parade will conclude with an appearance by Santa Claus, says co-chair Janet Byington.  The jolly old elf was joined by his wife at last year’s parade; Byington hopes that Mrs. Claus will be back this year.

Parade line-up is posted online at www.romechristmasparade.com.  It will be chilly outside at the 2019 parade; the National Weather Service has predicted partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid 30s for Tuesday night.

Cave Spring’s Christmas Parade is set for the evening of Saturday, December 14th at 6 pm.
