Communities in Schools of Rome and Floyd County invites the public to its annual Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, December 21st. It will take place at Applebee’s on Turner McCall Boulevard from 8 am until 10 am.
Gregory Wooten, Executive Director, asserts that CIS board members will be on hand to serve pancakes, sausage and juice. The public is invited to attend.
The proceeds from the breakfast will benefit CIS programs and services, says Wooten. These include mentoring and volunteering initiatives.
Tickets are $7 apiece and may be obtained from any CIS board member or by calling the CIS office at (706) 802-5740.
