In the Spring of 2020, Georgia Highlands College will add a host of classes on a condensed schedule that will begin later in the semester. According to a GHC media release, “Late Start Classes” will offer students an opportunity to complete certain courses more quickly.
This new model follows a successful pilot on GHC’s Cartersville location in Fall 2019.
The new “Late Start Session” will start in February and end in May. The first round of classes will start on February 4th and the second round will begin on February 18th.
Students may also opt to take “Late Start Classes” in a “Second Session” that will begin on March 5th and end in May.
These classes will condense a traditional class length’s worth of content into a shorter amount of time and will reward the same number of credits as would traditional classes.
