HOSPITALITY HOUSE FOR WOMEN, INC SEEKS DONATIONS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON AND INTO 2020

The Hospitality House for Women, Inc. seeks donations of gift cards to give clients this holiday season.

A gift card drive is now underway, says Lynn Rousseau, Executive Director, who adds that these gift cards from WalMart, Amazon, Visa and other outlets may be used by area survivors of domestic violence to shop for their children at Christmas.

Rousseau also encourages local church groups and civic organizations to pool  their resources to provide monthly meals to those served at the House. Maybe this can be among your group’s resolutions for 2020.

Concerned citizens may also support the Hospitality House for Women, Inc. during the holidays (and throughout the year) by shopping at the Hospitality House Thrift Store on Shorter Avenue.

Donations are particularly appreciated these days as the House faces funding cuts from the United Way of Rome and Floyd County, asserts Rousseau.

The Hospitality House for Women, Inc. will benefit from all registration fees of the 2019 Rome Curling Experience to be held this Saturday by the Atlanta Curling Club at the Forum On Ice.
