A ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening will take place this Friday for the new gymnasium at Armuchee High School, according to an invitation by the Floyd County Schools. The event will begin at 2 pm at the school, which is located at 4203 Martha Berry Highway. The gymnasium was funded by an education local option sales tax (ELOST).
