FALCONS CONCLUDE SEASON WITH EXCITING OVERTIME WIN OVER BUCCANEERS

The Atlanta Falcons emerged victorious over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a final score of 28-22 in overtime on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium down in Tampa, FL.  It allowed the Falcons to conclude their 2019 season with four straight wins (after starting the season 1-7).

Deion Jones intercepted a Jameis Winston pass and returned the ball 27 yards for a touchdown in the OT period to secure the victory for Atlanta. Matt Ryan completed 30 of 51 passes for 313 yards and one touchdown; this 35-yard TD pass was caught by Ty Sambrailo in the first quarter.

The Falcons finished this season with a 7-9 record and in second place of the NFC South.  The Bucs also went 7-9, although the Falcons broke the tie with a better in-division record.
