LAWMAKERS TO TACKLE GAMING MACHINES, OTHER ISSUES AT 2020 LEGISLATIVE SESSION

Local lawmakers will take their constituents’ concerns to Atlanta for the 2020 session of the Georgia General Assembly, which is slated to get underway on  Monday, January 13th.

Eddie Lumsden, Representative for Georgia’s 12th District in the state House of Representatives, indicates that he and his fellow legislators from this area have addressed concerns by local leaders on illegal use of gaming machines.  He anticipates that this will be among the hot topics discussed under the Gold Dome this year.

Lumsden indicates that it is easy to make predictions right now, but anything can happen during the upcoming legislative session.
