The Atlanta Hawks beat the Phoenix Suns 123-110 on Tuesday night at State Farm Arena. That resulted in an even 1-1 split in the two-game season series between the teams.
Trae Young led the charge with 36 points for the Hawks, who snapped a four game losing streak. He also had 10 assists. Kevin Huerter notched 23 points and 15 rebounds. John Collins had 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Devin Booker led all players in scoring with 39 points for the Suns, who saw a two-game winning streak come to an end.
Atlanta improved to 9-32 and now barely trails the Golden State Warriors (9-33) for worst record in the NBA. The Hawks will return to action this Friday night in San Antonio, TX with an outing versus the Spurs; tip off is scheduled for 8:30 pm.
