According to Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation, tickets are currently on sale for the 2020 Rome-Floyd Sports Hall of Fame Banquet, set for the evening of Monday, February 10th at the Forum River Center. The banquet is intended to honor this year’s Hall of Fame inductees, along with recipients of the John C. Pinson Jr. Memorial Scholarships that are given annually to local high school student-athletes.
The 2020 inductees into the Rome-Floyd Sports Hall of Fame are Jaleel Riaz, Charles Smith, Toryan Smith, Charles Culberson and Charlie Culberson.
The Hall of Fame event will include a banquet and an awards ceremony. The doors will open at 5:30 pm with a social hour. The awards ceremony will get underway at 6:30 pm. Those in attendance will enjoy a buffet dinner prepared by Longhorn Steakhouse.
Tickets are $30 each; tables may be purchased for $240. They are available at the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation’s headquarters at 1 Shorter Avenue and online at www.rfpra.com. Banquet tickets are limited and must be purchased by February 3rd. Those with questions may call (706) 291-0766.
