Rome City Commissioner Wendy Davis is enthusiastic about the new people that have joined the Commission over recent years. Davis, a member for the past six years, asserts that her group is now full of seasoned veterans and new energy. She champions public engagement in local government.
The next meeting of the Rome City Commission is scheduled for this coming Monday night at 6:30 pm. It will be preceded by a caucus at 5 pm. Both will take place at City Hall (or the City Auditorium) on Broad Street in downtown Rome and will be open to the public. Davis urges locals to attend.
