Talkin’ baseball was the order of business on Monday night during the Rome Braves’ 2020 Hot Stove Gathering. Rome and Atlanta Braves personnel were on hand for the event at the Forum River Center.
Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker and others fielded questions from local media at a press conference that was held before the gathering. Snitker stated that his team is poised to make a run for their first World Series title since the year 1995.
Snitker adds that the Braves are getting stronger, better and more experienced – and now they expect to win.
It won’t be too long until players head down to Spring Training. The Braves will be at a new location in ’20, CoolToday Park in North Port, FL. Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on February 12th.
The Atlanta Braves will open the regular season on Thursday, March 26th out in Arizona against the Diamondbacks. And when that regular season begins, you can hear all the action of Atlanta Braves baseball once again this year on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM.
