NEED HELP WITH YOUR TAXES THIS YEAR? AARP TAX-AIDE IS READY!

Tax season has arrived! Do you need help with your taxes? Once again this year, trained AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free help and electronic filing for low to middle income taxpayers. They will be stationed over at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway, each Saturday between the hours of 10 am to 2 pm from February 1^st until April 11^th and on Mondays from 1 pm to 4 pm from February 3^rd until April 13^th. Assistance will also be offered at the Charles C. Parker Center, 1325 Kingston Road, on Wednesdays from 1 pm to 4 pm from February 5^th through April 15^th.

Those who wish to take advantage of AARP Tax-Aide must bring last year’s tax return, all available information for this year, a photo ID for all taxpayers, social security cards and proof of health insurance for all people included on the return.
